Cool Trynna get OC5 but...

Hi

I am currently hosting with surpasshosting.com. I have the basic 4.95 $ a month plan and want to switch to OC5 ... I have around 1 GB of data on my server. Is it possible to change my plan without deleting the data ? any alternatives so that I dont have to upload 1 GB of data again ?

Please reply soon..

Thanks

Neil Panchal

When you switch plans, all of your data remains.

Very possible. All the admins do is set you up with a new package - chances are you won't even have to move servers!

When I moved my shared account over to a reseller account the process was done quickly. I purchasd the resller account, gave all my info to surpass, and they copied over my entire website and databases, then canclled my shared subscription.

Seeing as how you are just upgrading a shared hosting package, I doubt you would even need to switch servers... but if you do, the move will be painless.

Allright, Wicked !!!

I am gonna switch now :P , but one question. My website has multiple MySQL Databases. Will they switch my plans without affecting DBs? This is critical and very important to ask because I'd be nowhere if I lose my Database

Thanks everyone !

Switching won't affect your DBs, content, etc. at all

Do a backup just to be sure, though. You can never have too many backups!
