Why exactly do you need faster response times?

Are the majority of your visitors in the UK and you have a UK TLD?
You want a dedicated server for gaming or similar?

If you’re just after shared hosting there really is no need to be hosted in the UK. (I asume you know this)

You wont find plans with the features that surpass is offering for anything near the same price in the UK. Bandwidth is much more expensive.

I very much doubt surpass will have any plans to set-up servers in the UK anytime in the near future.

well, when your the buyer, would be great to get as fast as possible, but not needed to get great service btw. He just has the majory of the visitors come from the UK and thought faster would be better.

I am also sure surpass will not setup a DC in the UK just for faster times when it comes to UKers, as my statistics do show that more americans visit popular websites. Either way, the speeds are fast eniugh, even if they don't look like it in pinging.

Yeah, you see a high number like 300ms and there's the tendency to think 'AARRGGHH', but that is what, something like a third of a second, nearly nothing unless your some sort of theoretical quantum particle.

I live in the UK and wasn't sure about Surpass to begin with because their servers are in America, but having signed up I have to say that the response time is ridiculously fast - I'm very happy indeed.
