Signup response time

How long will it take Surpasshosting to acknowledge receipt of my order and set me up with OC5 web hosting service?

I filled out the web form at 10:54AM on Friday July, 2005. I received prompt reply from Paypal that they delivered my money.

While I know Friday was a precursor to a long weekend, I at least expected a "thank you" or an acknowledgement from a bot.

Setting expectations is the name of the game!

I'm getting impatient and I only ordered yesterday!

I too was very surprised to only receive a "your hosting order has been received" email that didn't even contain log-in information or an expected wait time...

How long does it take?

Because of fraud, all orders are processed manually. The normal waiting time during the week is 24 hours, but since billing only works regular business hours (monday to friday, 9-5), there is only minimal staff activating on weekends. Because it is a long weekend, it will likely not be until tomorrow for you to be processed through.

Thank you. I wish that a 24 business-hours response time was noted somewhere during the signup process. Nothing like feeling I dropped money into a black hole.
