Before i sign up... questions.

Hi all ive just came across this site and am very pleased to have found it, the deals seem great and just what im looking for. However i have a few questions as this is the first time i have bought hosting.

I don't know which package to go for? I think i need to use the reseller packages but im not too sure. Basically i am setting up a web design company and offering hosting, domain and proffessional web site at a small profit. So i have decided Surpass has good deals and will enable me to charge my customers the lowest possible prices. I don't mind if i have to buy a domain elsewhere but if it is included in the packages, great. The standard shared package looks to have high enough specs for our target group but would this be possible?

Which plan would be best for us?

Cluber,

Welcome to Surpass!

To answer your questions, it sounds like you would want to go with a reseller account. As for which account, you need to decide which package will provide you enough to get started. You can always upgrade later. There is no charge to upgrade, only the additional cost of the larger plan.

That being said, my personal favorite (and the one I use) is the OC-10 plan. The upside is that you get a lot of space, and even more transfer than the other comparable reseller plans, at a lower cost. The downside is that it is an annual only plan, so you'd have to come up with $159 upfront. Since you are just starting, you may want to start with one of the other reseller accounts (maybe the Bronze plan) and upgrade once you have some customers to pay for the upgrade.

Domains are not included in the hosting costs. You will have to purchase those separately. You indicated that you also want to sell domains. Surpass is an eNom reseller and can set you up to sell domains as well without the cost of going to eNom directly.

Hope that answers your questions.

John

Failure is not an option. It comes standard with all Microsoft products.
