If you know which domain you are going to use you can just put that in and then register the domain later.. As far as i know...
But why don`t just register the domain first?? Any special reason that you don`t`??
Anyway.. I am not a support here so please do not take my suggestions as surpass` suggestions... Or answers for that matter

re. filling in s prospective domain name....

First, not absolutely sure what domain I will get (see last post). Second, the admin did not mention that option as 'viable.'

re. But why don`t just register the domain first?? Any special reason that you don`t`??

That was the entire point of the last post and the 'catch 22.' According to teg-admin recommendation:

Quote:
If you get the hosting plan first, in our activation email you'll see what DNS you'll need to configure at godaddy. You can register the domain name, set the DNS to the ones in the email, and in 24 hours you're set.

On the other hand you can get the domain first and you won't know what to change the DNS to. But, as soon as you get the hosting plan, you'll know. Then you can configure the DNS at godaddy at that point. In 24 hours, you're set.
I was following his suggestion... Apparently he or 'surpass' won't allow me to point the DNS to surpass nameservers when registering a domain FIRST at go daddy and then coming here within the next half hour to sign up for a hosting package... meaning their policy is host first, domain second if not having a domain yet...or so it seems...

Waiting to here from 'admin' official before I enter the cc number in my hot leetle hands

Thx anywho

When you type the domian in there, that isn't actually registering a domain, it's just telling surpass what you want to appear in cPanel.

Okee dokee, since you be an admin, I'll just use the domain name I'll 'most likely' get...

Thx
