Banned Scripts?

I've been perusing and searching around and notice a mention of MT as banned but then there were some references to making sure one keeps them updated.

I have also searched 8 pages of this "Questions before signing up?" to and an over all global search to make sure my post is not a dupe.

Officially though, what isn't allowed? I also looked at the policies and did not see any mention of specifics referring to scripts of type MT, etcetera, and NOT that of scripts referring to irc stuff.

MT is not recommended, it isn't banned. Basically you can install it but if it causes a problem, you'll have to get rid of it. (I think that's kind of an umbrella statement for anything that might bring down a server.)

Are there any other known scripts to be problematic as well?

Chat rooms are not allowed on the shared and reseller as well.

Script banning is usually on a script by script basis, considering there are billions of them out there. They just kind of have to go off of what happens with each one.
