As an OC10 customer, I can add one thing to what you found out:

It's the best value they've got. I highly recommend them (OC5/10).

If you're not in the market for a dedicated server, then it is the way to go.

Hope you decide to join our dysfunctional little family, regardless of which plan you go with. I've been with a number of hosts in the past, but I'm staying here.

John

As an OC5-er, I will say you totally should, it's super spiffy. And as John said, the OC plans are totally the best value - the bandwidth alone is more than worth the almost nominal fee a year that you pay.

Even though Daniel found his answer, this question does pop up from time to time, so in case someone else sees the thread and looks at it for an answer, I will post the one that I would have posted had Daniel not already found out for himself.

Info on the oc plans can be found here.

There are 2 oc plans, the oc5 and the oc10.

The oc5 plan is a shared hosting plan.

It features:

5 GB Disk Space
100 GB Bandwidth
Unmetered Email Accounts
Unmetered MySQL Databases
2 Add-on Domains
2 Parked Domains
Fantastico
CPanel

$59.00 Yearly
Monthly not available

The oc10 plan features:

10GB Disk Space
200GB Bandwidth
Unmetered Email Accounts
Unmetered MySQL Databases
2 Parked Domains
Fantastico
WHM
CPanel

$159.00 Yearly
Monthly not available

The oc10 plan has all of the features found on the other reseller plans, such as custom DNS (ns1.yoursite.tld / ns2.yoursite.tld) and additional space and bandwidth (10GB) for your site at no extra charge (this means that the entire 10GB/200GB is yours to resell).

The features of the oc plans compare most favorably against the other hosting plans. The only thing is that they must be paid annually. No monthly allowed. For those afraid to commit to a year, remember that Surpass has a money back guarantee, so if you don't like it, you can get your money back.

If you feel that you really can't afford to pay for a year up front, wait and save your money. It really is too good of a value to pass up. You'll be glad that you waited and got it, because it really is the best value Surpass has without getting into the dedicated servers.

John

PS. skipdawg - how about now?

LOL sounds like an awesome deal. But feeling to lazy to go to the other side of the house to get my credit card at the moment. Maybe by October. lol

It really is a great deal. I wish I had noticed it day one. I would have gone for it in a second.

That's OK. They make it really easy to upgrade your plan. Whenever you make it to the other side of the house, they'll be ready to help.
