I'd take your clients anyway. If your old 'reseller' account had Cpanel, just have surpass move them for you. Nobody notices... just a few changes to some DNS records...
Oh, by the way? what company WAS that that would NOT let you take YOUR customers? That's like renting an apartment and having to leave all your furnature when you move! John
