It appears you would be running their software locally on your computer, not on the server, I could be wrong though.

We look forward to having you back aboard the surpass network. Please let us know if we can further assist you.

However, I know (by experience of the software) that it connects to a server via IP, and uses a register user system as well (but allows guests). So, I'll see how it goes, but I'm sure most activities are peer-to-peer and server is used just to store data of registered users and some small other things, so no issue should actually occur. It is peer-to-peer as the users have the install the client on their local computers and connect them to a server address of which will then link with other users that are online.

So, I'll try it when I purchase my OC5 plan and if any troubles occur, I'll remove the software asap. This is freeware too, so not copyright or pirating issues.

PS, nice to have this awesome support again, Surpass is definately my favorite and only place for my hosting needs.

Unfortunately we can't allow TS on the servers. It has been done before, and it turned ugly. Huge load issues. Mike was incorrect on that, I will be sure to email him.

Oh, ok. No worries. I'm still coming back I'll just hold off on that until I purchase a dedicated server from you guys in the near future (next year?).

Thanks for understanding. There is actually no mention of this type of program in our internal presales do's/don't list.. I will make sure it is added.

I am not aware of any time that the program was used and did not cause an issue. Unless the server had about 10 accounts on it at the time.
