May buy hosting...
I am in a bind. I had a fairly good hosting package from a friend of mine, 15g storage, 150g bandwidth, for $15/mo. But the server had random time outs, restarted often, and just wasn't very stable all around.
About 2 weeks ago, the main hard drive in that server failed. All of my site files are intact, except my databases. He told me that he had weekly backups, but the problem was that he didn't tell me the backups were stored on the HD that failed. I am fed up with the service i am getting from him, and plan on switching hosts. The packages here at Surpass seem great, a little on the more expensive side, but I am willing to pay that extra amount to get good, reliable service. I browsed through the forums a little bit and found that most people seem very satisfied with their service, and the support seems top notch. I am interested in a reseller account, probably the Silver to start with, and eventually moving up to the Plasma, and beyond. I do not see it listed on the features page for the reseller accounts, and I know that some hosts charge for upgrades.. Does Surpass charge you when you upgrade from one plan to the next? And how does the upgrade system work? Do I just start paying more monthly and my account is upgraded? I had some more questions to ask, but can't seem to remember them all right now. |

Hi there, we're very glad you're considering us. We don't charge for upgrades, you just send an email to our sales department and they cancel your old bill and make a new one for you/upgrade your specs, very easy. Please let us know if you have any more questions, we would love to have you hosted here with Surpass.

So, I'm sitting here wondering who the heck is this xyla person, and why haven't I met her before? Stop playing with my head, it's too easy.

I went into the Godaddy.com control panel and changed the domain host summary for hostfury.net to reflect the new nameservers, as well as changing the nameservers of hostfury.net to ns965.dizinc.com and ns966.dizinc.com. In the email, it was stated that I need to create an account for my main site. Is this correct? I need to create the "root" account for my reselling operation? |
