Hello,

Can any one tell me if there is a fee for transfering a domain name to Surpass, if I organise it through my current registrar.

Thank you

You dont need to transfer it.. Just point your DNS server to what ever they give you..

something like

NS?.SURPASSHOSTING.NET
and
NS?.SURPASSHOSTING.NET

(replace ? with proper number)

you can have you site with godaddy, netsol, or anyothers.. just point your DNS or NS to the proper place.. Theres no FEE for that.

He is correct, you don't need to transfer. transferring will change your registrar to surpasshosting.com. This costs (for me) $15.99. Pointing your dns doesn't cost anything (other than the hosting package). Also, you can't transfer a domain until it is at least 60 days old. or so I found out the hard way.

the only reason you would want to transfer is if theres an issue with your current one, or perhaps you want them all in one location..

I currently own about 15 domains. and all are spread over 4 different registers... IF I wanted to I could xfer them all to my main one... But its too costly..

Think of Surpassdomains being the same as Netsol, or some other register who you can buy domains from.

The fee to transfer is $15.99, but it's really not a "fee"... it is just a cost of transfer initiation and adds a year to your domain name as well.
Clove is right, you want to transfer if you don't like your current domain registrar. We have a spiffy control panel, that works well if you know your password.. right, Clove?
