hey, well, i guess i have a few concerns as to what im putting my money into.

i read a few complaints in the help section and i would really like to know how reliable you are. how possible is it that my website could go down? percentage-wise, i guess.

also, how long after i register a domain and pay for hosting will it take for my website to be up? after i upload it of course.

if i pay by credit card, how long before the payment goes through?

i'm not very technically smart when it comes to webpages and stuff, is it very easy to handle if i follow steps? are there steps?

thanks.

p.s. all these acronyms scare me. cgi etc.. :frust:

I'm not an surpass employee, but I can reccomend these guys highly. The servers have had a superb uptime, and the service & support is very good. They have helped me live via AIM when needed.

I changed to Surpass from Powweb for a few months ago and I haven't regret one time. The controlpanel included is very easy, and you don't need to be an expert to understand it!

Choose Surpass, a wise choice!

Cheers!

Once you send the initial payment via credit card during business hours, it is guarenteed to be up the next day. But, your domain could take anywhere from 24-72 hours to propogate, but you are free to use an IP assigned to you during that brief time.

Our uptime is 99%

Surpasshosting is dedicated to making its customers happy. When you have a problem, so do we.

dv8 and James,

Our account activation is _instant_
It does not matter if it is 3am on Saturday or 2pm on Thursday, if your payment goes through without a problem, our database sends you your information that you'll need to get started.

After you change your DNS, it can take anywhere from 24-72 hours for your domain name to work. Usually it just takes 24. In the meantime, you can upload using the IP number in the account activation email you'll receive. Using the IP will _always_ work no matter how many times you change your DNS.

I think it was about one day untill everything was activated, but I was getting a reseller account which had to be set up manually.

Normal accounts are instant!

Once you go Surpass - you won't go back!

Cheers!
