DoS help
We are on a shared server on another host, and they either don't have the desire or the ability to help us with DoS attacks we are suffering. We'd like to move to a dedicated server here, so the attacks are only effecting our site, and we have deeper server access to trace them and deal with them.
However, before we order we want to make sure we can expect help from the professionals on your end in dealing with this problem. Thanks in advance, - Mark C. Ford |

Hi Mark,
A DoS on a shared server can really escalate into a bad situation, so I am glad you are looking to move to your own server to help combat the problem. There are tools and scripts that can be used to sustain the attack and keep your server up. But how big of an attack is this really? Please submit a ticket to our sales division at https://desk.surpasshosting.com with any details you have on the amount of traffic this is generating and any info that can better help us to diagnose this completely and create a plan to keep your server and sites stable.

thanks for your inquiry, we are professionals but being professionals does not necessarily we are able to press a button and stop a DDOS. Infact there is nothing out there that is invisible to DDOS. We can analyze and suggest things but we can not promise you that you will not get affected by DDOS |
