Paying with friend's Paypayl Account

Hi, what happens if you pay monthly with your friend's paypal account? Since you've ordered the hosting plan with his paypal account, the IP addresses won't match. I know that the IP's need to match to prevent any frauds. I ordered a plan about a month or so ago, but I need my friend to confirm the purchase by filling out the paypal forms, but he's on vacation and has yet to fill it out yet. Since time is passing by and the money has already been paid, must the form still need to be signed by him? Thanks.

Regards,

You might want to drop a ticket to the help desk on that. And what a great example of why that is such a bad idea to use another's paypal account. Really!

Being a existent account that would probably be accounting that would handle that now. I think. Use to be billing but they changed things up recently.

You shoud never use someone else account to pay. Always use your own and you will have full control and do not have issues like this.

Well, my good friend allows me to use his account, when my account is having issues (I break things apparently... at least my server is ok :O ).

If you must, you can do so. I have and do every once in a while. But with my own money, of course, and just using his account to host it :P The way the system works, as long as (if using paypal, in this case you are) a paypal transaction is made to bring money to Surpass, then it works. You dont have to be the owner of the account.

Yeah, that's what I thought was going to happen. But it didn't so I have to fix this mistake. I wish my friend would hurry back. Thanks for your thoughts.

It could be cause of the semi-new system. I havent paid for any new hosting since October 2005 and moved to Dedicated in early June, so I wouldnt know how the new system works :P.

Okay, it's me again. I've still been waiting for this plan a long time now. After months of paying, but with no access to the plan. My friend is finally going to do this. I hope surpass turns out to be as good as it looks.

Regards,
