When you sign up for an account it gives you the option to:
A. Register a new domain B. Transfer an existing domain C. Keep domain where it is and change nameservers You can do either B or C in your case ![]() I just wanted to point out that this is not our official support forum. This is a user to user forum that some of the staff do watch and answer questions during their off time, so dont always count on these forums for quick and direct support from staff. Though the users here can usually help you just as well as the staff or at least point you in the right direction. http://desk.surpasshosting.com/ would be the official support area to get a direct response for the support team ![]()

A question just popped up in my head, I just got a shared hosting plan, waiting on billing...
Anyway, will add-on domains be able to get their own local email addresses, like for example; somebody domain1.com and another email address at somebody domain2.com, is that possible? Thanks. ![]() ![]() |

yes this is possible, the only snag with this is that they will have to use mail.domain1.com to connect to mail in programs like outlook

Thanks for the reply, guys. Very much appreciated. I'm just trying to make the transition more smoother for me, before canceling the previous hosting company.
So from what I'm understanding, I would simply put the ip address or mail.domain1.com to retrieve mail for other domains? For example; somebody domain2.com would have to put it's info in outlook to mail.domain1.com to retrieve mail?I tried searching the Wiki for more information on how to do this. But came out empty. Anymore information about this would be absolutely, greatly appreciated, sorry for the continued bumping of the topic. Just probing more questions on surpass hosting. ![]() |

That is correct.
Sign up with domain1.com at surpasshosting.com Add domain2.com as an addon domain in cpanel clcik on the mail button then add/remove accounts and add somebody domain2.comin outlook when it asks for the incoming and outgoing mail addresses use mail.domain1.com
