domain transition

so I'm thinking about registering a second domain name with surpass and sowly transitioning from using one domain to another. I'd like to be able to forward web and email services from one domain name to another. Would this be possible without having to sign up for a second hosting account? My biggest concern would be fowarding my main email address.

I'm a pretty quick learner. I just need pointed in the right direction, so I dont lose any emails, or pay for any services I dont need. ANy tips or hints are appreciated.

ThanKs!

Don't know if this would be the best way, but you could always use the domain as an addon if you have shared hosting, then just set up forwarders for the mail. When you have a domain as an addon, you will see it show up in your cPanel when adding mail accounts, subdomains, etc.

As DewKnight points out, you should do that. And, as for domain shifting, you can change your account's main domain for $15 or if this is still the first 30 days of the account's opening, then it can be done for free. But, by adding a addon domain, it allows the domain ot be used on your account for web, email, etc.
