Buying a dedicated server

I currently have this dedi with surpass:

I'm paying $200.00 Monthly for the server.

...I'm considering to get another dedi as i'll be running a new website soon which should hit pretty large quickly.

I'm after the same specs as the current one i've got but the price is a bit too high for me at the moment (i'm low on cash). I was wondering if surpass would offer me any type of discount for having renting an additional dedi from them? or perhaps offer me some other deal?

I believe you do get a discount when you purchase additional dedicated servers. I do not remember what that discount is though. I think I got it from sales.

you can usually work out a price with sales like DewKnight says...... I think it's a case per case basis...

Well, this might be different for Surpass themselves, but their datacenter has this type of promotion:

(Servers -> Monthly Discounts)
3-5 -> 5%
6-24 -> 10%
25+ -> 20%
100+ -> 30%

I'd say hit up the sales department for the official word. But, if this is the same for them, best to just host the site on your current server until it earns enough to be solo B)

For many reasons too. Either they've decided to run their webhosting service off of Surpass Hosting (which means many utility/etc fees would be waived, as well as free tech support on managing the server), or even are using extensive downloading services/networking. However, the web hosting business is one of the main reasons, along with reselling servers (which pay off with the discount). Heck, Surpass Hosting has over 100 servers for shared/reseller accounts.
