200GB for 6$ month?

Is the Power Shared Hosting really 200 GB of disk space for 6$ a month?

I'm just confirming, because it looks too good to be true.

I would just add - read the terms of service well. You will be limited on your resource use (CPU / memory) as the site runs. I simply emphasize this so that if you are in the future told you need to move to a dedicated server because your site (no matter how little space it takes up!) is using too much of the servers resources you'll know why and won't complain.

Surpass runs the "Good Neighbor" policy - so as long as you and all your neighbors on that server are getting along and sharing resources, everything will be smooth and fine!

The increase in storage space would really make for an excellent off site backup, is that allowed?

Also, are all the other specs for the shared plans the same, are their any other changes... what about SSH access, is that included... that would make these plans perfect!

yes.

SSH is extra. A one time fee, 20$ if I recall.

Off Site backup can't abuse bandwidth or server resources. TOS says you can't use it as a 'file store', but backup is different from hosting torrents and such.
