Hi,

I'm interested in your bronze reseller plan. Infact, I've pretty decided to purchase it already. However, the order form is down at the moment.

Anyway, here's some questions I would like to know while waiting for the form to be fixed.

1) Does everything listed on your previous site still apply? (Link from the other thread)


2) How many addon/parked domains are we entitled to?

3) Will you transfer my data from previous webhost (cpanel/whm) ?

1 - pretty much, yes
2 - as a reseller, your "free" space gets none. You do have the ability to resell any space you want, and those accounts can have whatever limit you decide.
3 - yes, they can transfer Cpanel accounts - depends on size, of course, and you have to be patient.

I was wondering if I could have just 1 addon domain as I would like to use one of my domain as the main acct (so I can set my custom name server using that domain name) and my main websites will be hosted on another domain. So I would like to addon the latter domain to the prior one.

Else, my "free" space will be wasted isn't it? Since I have nothing on it.

Any staff can confirm if I can just request for a single addon domain? Before I submit the order through the order forms as my "main domain" will depend on that. Thanks

why would your custom name server be differnt from the actual main domain?

But I know for a fact that you can set your custom name server to any domain you own.
You could make a tiny account in your reseller space just for that domain too.

Thanks for the reply, but is there hosting staff to confirm if I am able to request for just a single addon domain for the main acct?

New years holiday - maybe not. Especially in the sales team.

I can tell you for a fact (because I did it) that you can choose any domain to be your custom name server. It has to exist on the server, but 'addon' is just a fancy DNS trick anyway.
Make a very small account for the 'dns' domain in your reseller WHM. That will take care of it.

You get 3 parked domains, but no add-ons...
If you do some scripting, you could probably use a parked domain as an add-on...
I think Kayla went somewhere for New Years, so I don't know if she has access to the internet.
You might be able to get one for $15... But I'm not 100% sure.
Like BigJohn said, it's easiest just to create an account for it.

But, I'm still skeptical because i dont see anywhere that says we have 3 parked domains. Can someone else confirm that? (not that I don't believe twirp, but I just want some reassurance) Thanks alot!

I did have a reseller account for less than a week (decided to keep my VPS1 plan and thus not downgrade ), but not long enough to tell ya much about it.

Anyways, here are the standards to reseller accounts:

Main Account - a free account paired with your purchased reseller package. The main account is to host one domain, which is the domain you signed up with, which will host your main/portal website. This is to allow you to resell 'all' of your reseller package's quoted space and bandwidth. The account comes with the same storage amount as the reseller plan, but just 10gb bandwidfh (for the main 'free' account only).

Reseller Account - the package you paid for, which has all the storage and bandwidth specified on the package. This is designed to be the full amount to resell, while the main account houses your main website without that site taking up any space of your reseller account (thus, you can resell 'all' of your reseller account's space/bandwidth)

Hopefully that helps out abit. And, the addon domains are 0 for the main 'free' account, but unmetered (all you need) for the actual reseller account. You can create custom nameservers via WebHost Manager control panel, just make sure you have those domain servers (created at your registrar) pointing to the given domain names or IPs.
