Transferring large site

I have a reasonably large site and im wanting to transfer it to surpass hosting due to my old host going down every few days and not fixing errors etc...
My current server is also on cpanel but im dreading the site transfer.
Do you know if i can just make a full site backup and use cpanel to transfer it as a full site restore (previous hosts have said no or have timed out using cpanel)
Any help is much appreciated!

I would contact the helpdesk before signing up. They should be able to accommodate you in getting your site transferred seamlessly.

You may want to let them know how much space you are currently using so they can get an idea of how large the transfer will be.

cPanel to cPanel transfers are easy. Most of the time, they just tell the server to grab your account from your current server. Sometimes there are problems with that, but you can always make a full backup in your current cPanel, and Surpass will download it and use it.

Usually, using the root WHM transfer feature, it can be abit of a hassle and sometimes end up in some corrupted databases (that can be fixed, most of the time).

Surpass could transfer everything for you, for no charge (well, depending how "big" you're refering to). Just send i na support ticket at the helpdesk.
