Question Pricing? e-mail diversion?

Hello,

I am considering moving my existing domain name over from www.uk2.net.

I would like a few questions answered beforehand.

1. I am aware of the $1 for one year offer and was wondering if I could have a bit more info about the charges involved after that year. I can see $6/month or $60/year for the Power Plan but is that the only charge or are there oher hidden charges? If so $60 sounds like a great deal to me. Much cheaper than uk2 for sure!

2. I was also wondering if you have an email diversion facility similar to what I have with uk2? I really like using gmail and would like my email diverted to there is possible.

3. When I sign up, what am I supposed to put in the nameserver section? Is it my nameserver with uk2 or do I leave it as the default (I assume your nameservers?)

Many thanks in advance,
Roland.

P.S. I think it would be quite helpful if you had a search function on your forums, as I'm sure these questions have been asked before.

1. No hidden fees. With the $1 plan you would be signing up on the yearly option, so it would be the $60/year

2. You can set up email forwarders for your email addresses

3. In your welcome email, you will receive two nameservers. Just update those wherever you registered your domain

There is a search function, just go the the main page of the forums, and hover over Navigation at the top. You will see the links below change, and the search is there.

Hi again,

Thanks for that, but I'm a little bit confused. Does this mean I still have to maintain my account with uk2, as I was hoping to transfer my site entirely.

Roland.

You don't still need to pay for a hosting account, just the domain, wherever you registered it. If you like, you can also transfer the domain to Surpass: http://www.surpassdomains.com/

Thanks for that, however I have a .co.uk domain name and it doesn't seem to have a facility to transfer that. Is that coming soon or am I doing it wrong?
