Isn't the bandwidth between servers located in the Surpass enclave unlimited? That should also be used in the calculation.

Geoff - I'm sure most of us know unmetered is not unlimited (or they would say "unlimited"), in terms of Surpass Fans members B)

NovaRod - Nothing is unlimited. Maybe your love for others, but nothing else. Everythign has a limit, same with servers.

Kayla - Hmm?

Yeah, felt like pointing out conversations. Anyways, the MMORPG isn't of a private server for hosting copyrighted game content, correct? This is for your own safety, as if so, these can be dropped as soon as Surpass knows and could be a lawsuit of high proportions by the parent company (of the game).

Anyways, you should be able to do what you need. However, if only one will be using high bandwidth, a logical thing to do is purchase an unmetered server for that. As for the others, check into the VPS plans, which would have specifications that could work.

Hope I could help.

gaming hydrid, the problem is that even though only one of the three servers would be using high bandwidth, it's difficult to predict which one. it changes with time. so like i stated in my example, i may have purchased unmetered for one server and then the next month need it for another server, etc. i also acknowledge the copyright laws, but thanks for the heads up. lastly, kayla was talking about my extremely, undeniably cute avatar picture.

i already asked Eman about this, and he said thatit's not possible to combine the bandwidth on the dedi's. =/ i guess i'd have to purchase three unmetered dedi's T.T . donations pl0x. anyway, thank you everyone for input and whatnot. appreciate it

Thanks for clearing this up

Actually, what you can do is start at the 1tb standard for all three (not combine, as in 1tb for each of the three). Then, upgrade the bandwidth accordingly. Thus, if server b is using more than server a and c, then upgrade server b to unmetered. If server a starts to use more, than upgrade server a to unmetered.

This should be possible and hassle free.

Can't you also purchase more bandwidth as needed? (may get expensive $$)

Rod (Love, unlike BW, is unlimited)

well, the ordeal is that one server may rise in bandwidth one month, and then the next month it lowers and another server rises. so the only solution would be to either purchase high bandwidth for all of them (otherwise risking suspension), or this proposed plan. Someone in another forum mentioned to me that i'm basically requestingg three dedi's under one IP. Maybe that clears up what i'm trying to do.

Unfortunately sharing bandwidth on servers is not possible. Each server has its own limit.

Well, I can't see that happening in a sense. The only thing to do is buy more bandwidth when it needs more. Sure, next month might not be the right amount, but the following month could. So, just best to buy as you go, according to your server's average usage. If it uses a certain amount at average, best to purchase the BW package to meet that average.
