Talking How do you do it? :)

Hiya!

I own a site with 2 friends which is reasonably popular and we have 420+ members that grows quite frequently [we're a fansite who's been going since October and we're in the process of swapping over to your hosting from another UK based host which is where we are.]

Our UK seller gave us:

# Webspace: 10,000 MB
# Data Transfer: 50,000 MB per Month
along with other stuff

for over £100 a year. And then we found you and saw that you offered:

200GB Disk Space 2000GB Bandwidth

For almost a quarter of the price!

Yey you

I'm currently waiting for activation of my own personal account with the:

50GB Disk Space 2000GB Bandwidth

to just share some pictures/host my journal etc just because I was so pleased with the service we'd had!

There is another thing I do want to question, is there anyway I can pay sooner rather than later? I've paid the initial pro-ration type thing and it looks like the full amount isn't due until the 1st April and I'd love to pay you up in advance for the year. I understand that it's all due to the billing cycle though and is just me being a tart :op

Thanks everyone

You should be able to submit a ticket at the help desk https://desk.surpasshosting.com and ask them to switch you to the yearly payment plan. As shown at http://client.surpasshosting.com all the shared and reseller plans have both monthly and yearly payment options.

Hiya Rick

Thank you for your reply! I'm on the yearly plan, I've bought one of the smaller plans as I don't need that much space but I'm still awed by the prices

The payment question was mostly because I just wanted to clear my debts in advance It was a daft question I know and depends on the billing cycle I guess

I think the purpose of pro-rating until the first of the next month is so your anniversary always falls on the first of the month. Paying early may mess with your anniversary date. However, it doesn't hurt to ask them via the help desk.

Thank you, you've helped me understand why it's in advance

I don't mind waiting until the anniversary date, I'm just a typical woman. Want to spend what's there

Just to verify, this is the purpose of the pro-rated. All clients of Surpass (that have chosen to pay Monthly) will pay on the 1st of each and every month. For yearly people, this would be the 1st of the month that they bought the service in, a year from now (A March '07 purchase is a April 1st, '08 renewel, cause of prorated). This just evens out when payment can be handled, by charging a value of the remaining month you purchased the paln then add realistically start it on the 1st of the next month.

About switching to Yearly, you can request this in the accounting department at: http://desk.surpasshosting.com

Welcome aboard and anymore questions you have, feel free to ask them here!

Thank you, I really appreciate it!

I'm still waiting for everything to be set up, and I've requested an upgrade to the 200gb one when it's all set up, and everything's waiting for yearly payments

Thanks everyone!
