couple quick questions about shared plans

in reference to shard hosting plans:

1) no mention of how many sql databases are allowed in each plan. unlimited (he asked with his fingers crossed)?

2) can you access the sql databases from a remote computer? ie a game server sending information directly to the sql database for posting stats without having to come up with a complex work around. my current host doesnt allow any box but itself to connect to the sql databases, and thats forced me to use other hosts to run these small packages. id like to be able to do everything on one host.

thats it, thanx in advance!

Just one thing to add...

It's a "good neighbor" policy. Your site(s) abuse the system resources, you will be asked to change plans to VPS or Dedicated. So, think your plan through, and read the TOS!

Just thought I'd add that the number of databases is unlimited; however, they do count against your disk space quota, which on a Shared Power Plan is currently 200GB.. so the space they take up, is not unlimited.
