questions
1. on the hosting reseller program is port 1129 open? i need it for linkpoint
2. do i get shell access? 3. how much does domain cost per year when i add a new domain name? 4. can i get shell access? 5. what control panel is installed on it? 6. are there any restrictions on the space or the bandwidth..? |

2. yes, you can request it 3. .com's are 15.99 through surpassdomains.com 4. maybe  5. cpanel but I think we have some plesk resellers also 6. depends on which plan you go with: http://www.surpasshosting.com/resellerplans.php |

5 - Cpanel. Plesk was a shortlived 'windows' hosting environment experiment here...
There is a form to fill out after you subscribe to request shell.

I know if I try to telnet to 1129 to my domain, the connection fails. However, if you can provide a good reason for why you need it open (which sounds like you do) support may open it up. Again, that is a question for the helpdesk as they would be able to tell you if they can accommodate your need for that port.
