Thumbs down

Hello

I just have a question regarding the Add-on Domains:

1) Do Add-on Domains act as separate websites from the main domain in the account?

By this I mean, can I have 123.com and 321.com and have them be both separate sites with different content?

Yes, in a nutshell that is it. Addon domains are actually a subdirectory inside your main account. They do not get their own separate Cpanel login. Also, some scripts have problems installing to addon domains from what I have heard.

Add on domains aren't "real" sites with real paths... that's why.

An add on is basically..

domain2.com pointing to

folder.domain1.com

A mask...

If you are actually transferring the domain (IE: from your current registrar to surpassdomains) then you will have that option.

If you mean you want to change the domain name on the account that is hosted with us later on, this can be done. However, if the account is over 30 days old there is a fee of $10 to cover this.

do the Fantastico v2 files take up the space from my future plan or are these already included?

I'm guessing that the only space it would take up is the database space correct?

and... does that add-on domain on the address bar stays as domain2.com/index.html or does it change to the original domain1.com ????
