Holiday promo question
Question about the holiday promo.
Could I give someone the holiday promo as a gift, so I pay for it the first year and they pay after that? Is there a limit on how many I can buy? Thanks. |

Yes, you could but you would have to rely on the recipient's honesty in changing your billing information to theirs.
 As long as the new accounts do not replace existing ones, I do not believe their is a limit on the number you can purchase.

hello,
Just sign up for the account using your information and once payment has been made, submit a ticket to the billing dept to have them update the billing...or even better, with the new account, you will be in our new billing system so you even can login, updated the email on file, name, address, telephone number, etc and then update the credit card so that next year, it bills your clients. Any further questions let us know.

Would there be any way to get a sort of coupon code type of thing for those of us that might want to get it for other people, thereby avoiding having our personal info there at all? Thanks.

That's a good idea valmg. I know of another hosting company that recently launched a christmas hosting promotion to give to friends, family, etc...

Val, I read your post earlier and I felt pressed to get something like this done.
With our current billing system (Modernbill) we always have to make custom tools to get the promotions running, even though they seem simple enough. We are going to have a custom system by this time next year. We want to be able to offer gift certificates and all around easier ways to give to others. Right now I can only offer what we have so far. : ( If we do any other coupons.. Jason will kill me. (He is our MB expert who makes all of the tools.)
