Still waiting for my first. Guess I need to make my site more attractive to visit. And to have people click on the ads.

See you told you, it all depends on what your site is about. If its a personal site like a blog with few visitor contents, you're not going to get much...probably 1 or 2 clicks every two weeks or something.

If you have a resource site, maybe around 10-20 clicks.

But if you have like a celeb news blog, myspace layout site, gaming site or anything else that REALLY grabs a bunch of people's attention, then you will be making the big money with these ads.

I use adsense on chat sites, chat directories, forums, myspace resource sites, dollmakers and a few others.

Chat directories have been the best for me. Forums the worst because most visitors are repeat and tend to skip over the ads straight away without even looking at them.

It does depend on your content to an extent, and traffic of course, but placement and monitoring of your ad channels can mean the difference between $10 and $100.

Me too. In two years I've tried it in different places, as well as text, images, text and images. Nada. I got so tired of looking at it I removed it from all but one site. And I don't do much better with the affiliates either.

I got one check when I had an xbox forum once, but I sold the forum and haven't made much since. I think I've got $60 sitting in there. I haven't used adsense in a while

I tend to make most of the money from wikipedia and google users, more so from wikipedia.

It's nice to get good "referral" ads... some pay $40 just for someone to fill out a stupid form.

I got booted from Adsense 3 years ago. Google accused me of click fraud and refused to explain or discuss the issue. I switched to Yahoo ads about 18-24 months ago and I make pretty good money. Usually about $.75-$3/click. Some days I make upwards of $25-$30.
