Dan might be able to answer that question when he comes online about this particular forum and also Kayla.

I've been using vBulletin for a long time now, and love it. The mods are very easy to install, much easier than any other forum software on market. Why? Most use the plugin system, which does all the file edits/MySQL for you as well as have an "install" and "uninstall" in the system, thus you don't have to worry about messing up your installation. It's like installing software on a computer.

The software is very user friendly, even if the Admin CP can be confusing at first (many, many options!). All and all, it is the forum software for anything you need that the market provides, plus more. And their tech support has increased as well. It is worth every penny.

Please understand that vBulletin require a license to run, which is priced at $85 per year or $160 one time fee ( $30 per year of additional updates, if you wish for them). Surpass does not hae the legal rights to sell vBulletin licenses or software at this time.

Everything you need to know was said here. Vbulletin is very solid software and the plugin system is GREAT for mods. I love that it takes longer to upload a hugeee arcade mod to the forums then it does to install it.

My favorite Arcade mod is v3 Arcade, which is gonna have a new release especially for 3.7! Not out yet, but they placed that note on their site :P

And thanks Dan I agree. The Plugin system was what solid vBulletin over anything else, well other than it being powerful and solid :P

Plugin system? Whaaaaat? How come forums didn't have this back in the day? I remember having to search for specific lines of code to replace to get a mod to work. Once an update rolled around, you were screwed.
