What kind of mailing lists do you support? Announce only? Discussion lists? What software are you using for that? Can it make a complete backup/restore from my machine?

We support most mailing list scripts out there. Announce and discussion lists are welcome as long as your mailings do not cause high load on our servers as discussed here: http://www.surpasshosting.com/content/policies.php

Edit: phpList is the preferred mailing list script. I highly recommend using it if you choose to host with us.
