[Answered] Considering joining.

Hello there , a few friends of mine suggested your hosting services and I'm really impressed by the prices(especially for the shared hosting). Before I take the final plunge and sign up , I have a few questions about your hosting services:

1. I'd really like to run a WordPress blog on my site , do you guys have the php and MySQL features that meet WordPress' http://wordpress.org/about/requirements/ minimum requirements? If so , are these available to shared hosting plans?

2. When I sign up, do I have the option of paying the monthly/annual fee right away or can I start making monthly payments and switch to your annual fee.

3. Does this include a unique ".com" domain name?

4. Am I locked into a contract or can I cancel at any time? Money is tight as a college student but I really want to give this a try.

I think that's about it , thank you in advance for your time.

I can answer some of these...

1. Yes wordpress is available for shared servers... its actually in Fantastico ready for a quick and easy install.

2. ? There is an option to pay monthly or yearly... I'm not sure about the switching later on... like from monthly to yearly...

3. You'd have to register your own .com name with a domain registrar. You can do so at Surpass Domains or another registrar.

4. You can cancel at any time.

I'm sure a quick submission of a ticket and you'd be able to change your billing options.

Surpass are very flexible, they'd be sure to accommodate your needs :]

Its just sign up, and later for whatever reason service doesn't meet the needs, simply fill out a cancellation form to cancel service, anytime that can be done, no questions asked.

Surpass is really good though.

I would stick with monthly payments, that way if you decide to cancel, you won't have to deal with getting a refund or whatever.
