Offering an offsite storage for limited critical data
I'm not sure if this has ever been asked or not, but I am curious if it is okay to offer our business customers the ability to store some of their critical data on our dedicated server. I've had several small businesses here that have been asking me if we could provide that service for them.
Again, this is my dedicated server and is being used to host dozens of small businesses with only a few individual accounts. If I have the ability to do that (with Surpasses blessing), I would be sure and understand the amount of data they are thinking of backing up as the upload bandwidth of these customers is maybe 1Mbps at best. Offering this service could potentially expand the server base for us with the additional revenue. Thanks for listening! NovaRod (always looking to expand!) |

Umm, I wouldn't keep it as the only place of storage. If it's critical data, it should be kept locally and offsite, probably in two offsite locations.
