Dedicated Server & One Love Plan

Hello

I read from the Announcements forum that you currently selling some of your dedicated servers for a low price.

I am quite interested with the $75/mo plan (with cPanel), does this also come with Fantastico for free? Please, please, because I need Fantastico to market my hosting effectively.

Also, will this be fully managed?

Regarding One Love plan, can existing customers sign up for this plan? Also, may I know the servers where the one love accounts will be placed? This is to avoid placing my current account and one love plan account in the same server.

Hi Miletjs, thank you for signing up at the forum.

If you purchase the monthly cPanel, Fantastico is free.

The server is definitely fully managed, yes.

You can sign up for One Love for new domains only that are not already hosted with us. We have been putting up a One Love server every two weeks so if you purchased a plan some time ago, the server your new plan will be on is definitely not the same as the other.

Also, next year, I will be having 2 accounts with you if I purchase one love plan today. Is there, by any chance, some kind of "discount" for customers having more than 1 account?

Another thing, when you say it's fully managed, meaning I don't have to bother with anything right, and just sit back and relax? Also you are the one responsible for installing the latest security patches and hardening the server against attacks (DDOS, etc)?

No, unfortunately we do not provide management services at this time.

Just a note when you sign up for your cpanel server. It will not come with fantastico by default. So after you receive your server welcome e-mail just open up a ticket in our help desk and request it and they'll get it installed for you

Wow. Did you seriously just ask surpass if they will manage your dedicated server that is hosted elsewhere?

They are a hosting company not a server management company for other companies.

I'm pretty sure they just manage servers in the data center they run.

I know there are some companies that offer unmanaged servers but you can pay extra for support/management. Maybe they also will do servers not in their network since it's a separate payment?

Yeah i've heard of it but i was pretty sure surpass didn't offer this as of yet.

I wonder if there is enough money in that field to be worth doing that!

I think that's kind of a superfluous service for Surpass to offer given all of their dedicated servers are fully managed. Or am I just missing the point here?
