GamingHybrid, did you get the blog creation/subdomains working?
I have to add that part to the tutorial.. About the readme file - yes, I think they want it to seem that way.. maybe so that people will be afraid and stick to the free hosting at wordpress.com. I guess it benefits/promotes them better that way. Just a wild guess though.
