[Answered] This is why I'm going to switch to Surpass
I'm not a customer yet but I plan to very soon when I can afford a dedicated server. Anyways I just wanted to show you guys the response to a support ticket that I submitted with my currrent shared hosting provider. The reason I submitted a ticket is because my users and I are experiencing slow download speeds from the server. I'm currently downloading a backup and I'm getting 89kb/s wayyy to slow when I average 550kb/s from any other site. Anyway, here is the response I got, I did not edit this in anyway except the company name:
Dear Joshua, All ready we have reduce the server load and we have increase the tweak setting in http end. Now sourly you can able to upload or view the video with fast manner. If you stall show then please check with your net speed. -------------------------------------------------------- Regards, ******Hosting - Simon HAHA I just replied asking that he please respond in english. Not only that but they keep trying to convince me that the slow speeds are from the http settings and not the fact that the server is oversold and that the connection is maxed out. |

True. I was kind of mad when I got outsourced support from Adobe (I called the US number accidently... I generally get more localized support when I call Adobe Canada). I just waited until the issue was resolved with the serials for FB3 to save myself from repeating myself 5 times and asking them to repeat themselves just as many.
