[Answered] thinking to move here

hi
i have already a reseler account with other company , but they are not willing to move forward , now i have a website with 10 000 pageloads per day , with some other websites so the totall will be some 20 000 - 25 000 pageloads per day , wouldnt that cause problems ? at my actual hoster they are asking me to hide some sections of my website to prevent server overload !

Depends on what is loading on the page? What is your site about?

If anything, with page views like that on a daily basis, I would suggest going Dedicated. You'd have the maximum uptime and won't have to worry about eating your neighbors resources or vice versa. =)

So you will be streaming videos, I'm going to assume? If so, then yes I would highly recommend looking into getting a dedicated plan.

The problem with streaming videos on a shared environment, you will be eating up a lot of the shared resources between you and the other accounts on the server. If you purchase a dedicated server, then this issue will not happen, since it is YOUR server. You will have complete control over all that happens to it.

Alright, well still suggest a dedicated, but for now, I think a reseller you could be OK with. Please read this page for more information on shared resource abuse, so that you know ahead of time, just in case. About Surpass Hosting =)

This will definitely cause problems on a reseller server -- the only option we can offer you is a dedicated server if you are interested in hosting with us. Your site simply exceeds what we can offer on a reseller package, sorry!

I could only dream of that many hits per day!
