For last 3weeks iam searching for a host that suits my requirement. i have it hosted in dreamhost 4 now. my friend suggested u,

I wouldn't say it "blows" ... our VPS plans are very stable now, we've been setting them up and maintaining them for over a year now with OpenVZ and times are good.
You could try VPS but you may have to go dedicated. Sites like those cannot be on any form of shared plan.

With 12000 views per day, going with a VPS account is not a good idea. There is a 95% chance that you will exceed the resources you are allowed, and that the account will be disabled. Going dedicated is definitely the best option for this kind of site.
Installing the "WP Super Cache" plugin is a pretty good idea, too. It will significantly reduce the load you put on the server.
