Question soap client module

Hi,

My customer need to support soap client to run his php script. But I don't know what is soap client. Do your reseller hostings support soap client? is this module installed on your reseller servers? Or he can install (or enable) it on his web space? How?

Wink

When your talking about soap, are you talking about the authentication method similar to that of MSN Passport?

I know at least one open source CMS which as recently modularised soap allowing multiple installations of this CMS to authenticate against one main install. Very handy if other CMS's follow suit also.

If this is a paying client of yours then I would suggest either doing a little research or passing him onto someone capable of dealing with such a task.

These sites may help:

SOAP Extensions: Basic and Digest Authentication

SOAP Authentication

Very clever stuff is SOAP. I'm holding out to see what more comes of OpenId first, although it's been around a short while now it's still a baby.

If you don't mind me asking what is that you do for your client, or in general?

Anyway Good luck.

As long as soap doesn't require root access to install then it should work fine on a reseller I would assume.

I didn't read into it too far to see if it requires root access.
