I need some information about surpasshosting (shared solution)

A phpinfo file would be great.

which version of MySQL is used?

Are Safe_mode on or off?
Are Register_globals on or off?
Are allow_url_fopen on or off?
Are Session.use_trans_sid on or off?
Is there GD2 support?
Do you have mod_security or any simular webfirewall installed at the apache servers?

Question 2 and 3 can be fixed with .htaccess file, but is that allowed?

Someone from a shared server should be able to post a PHPInfo file, I'm on a reseller and don't know if they're the same..

My server has MySQL 4.1.22 according to phpMyAdmin, not sure if shared servers are different than reseller servers.

Register_globals is off, to my knowledege, as is allow_url_fopen

Hopefully someone else can answer the rest for you! You could also open a ticket with the helpdesk to see if they could provide you with more information, possibly faster than here.

I know there is a post regarding how you can enable allow_url_fopen but this functionality is going away in the next release of PHP so it's a good idea to use cURL instead.
