mailinglist and backup

I am asking about Reselling Hosting features. I dont see mailing list and backup feature on all plans.
I know that mailing list can decrease server performance. but backup is also important just in case error happen.

I need clarification before signing up.
why mailing list and backup features are not available?
thank you.

Backup options are available in cPanel as a manual option for you and your resold clients, and Surpass does backups of their own as well, but you should ALWAYS create your own backups.

I am unsure if mailing list software is included or not, but you can always open a ticket with the helpdesk and ask for specific details.

Mailing lists are available. You can use Mailman, which is included with cPanel -- or use phpList. If you do choose to set up a mailing list, please remember to throttle your software so that it does not send more than 350/messages per hour. We highly recommend using phpList instead of Mailman.

Also: if you're planning on hosting a large list (anything over ~1000 subscribers) you will need a dedicated hosting package, as reseller accounts are not in place for hosting large email lists.

350 email/hour is that for my reseller account, or for my client account or per domain
because my client account can have multiple domains right

mailman is what I thought
ok. thank you for your confirmation

btw. the unsurpassed hosting gave extreme backup with 7 copies. So I want at least surpass have backup for my reseller account

It's 350/hour per domain. How many subscribers do your clients' mailing lists have?

I'm aware of the name of the forum. I was just curious how many subscribers you were planning on working with.

Why is that? I have several (small) mailing lists thorugh mailman but would consider switching to phplist if there were significant advantages.
