If we receive notice that there is such a hate site hosted within our network, the customer hosting the material will be notified immediately.

If a complaint about a site is received, do you check if the site is inviolation of the terms of service before deleting?

I'm afraid this would indeed apply to fiction and art. Abuse complaints are handled on a case-by-case basis - we tend to give our customers the benefit of the doubt, but may have to step in if a complaint is found to be credible.

Please note that this says "notified" and not "deleted". Content may be disabled temporarily, but it is never deleted outright or on the spot except for extreme cases.
