Sounds like you're talking about the 'Power' hosting plan. Note that you get 750MB storage & 20GB of bandwidth (per month) for $6.00/month.

My last question was locked even though its response was irrelevant to my question :-)

I asked what network does the server actually reside on? Because 20 gigs of NAC bandwidth is most certainly quite expensive, especially to offer to people at only $6.00 a month. I'm well aware of the differences in storage and bandwidth.

I was just wondering if it filtrered down from NAC into something more economical like DCJN and that's what we'd actually be dealing with? Or do you guys just have the resources to offer that much bandwidth of NAC.

Justin

We colocate our servers at NAC.net I am sure you are familiar with that datacenter.

There is no more room for DCJN so they have us running on premium NAC bandwidth.

Surpass plans to have their own datacenter sometime in the beginning of next year, so why go all the way with NAC? Waste of money.
Not to be derogatory to Surpass or anything, but I would say NAC would have better uptime/performance than Surpass' own datacenter could ever have. NAC's one of the best datacenters in the world imo.

But at a much higher cost, :s2rescue:

It is not going to make a difference with ligit website hosting on a NAC supported host, now if its a mission critical issue to where a hickup would devistate you business (example: eBay) then you can afford the complete NAC system all by yourself i would assume. Are you as big as eBay and realy need that amount of service for a few bucks a month? :yohoho:

This is as close to the big leages as you get for the price. :poke:

Hmm... Rereading my last post, it sounded like I was trying to pick a fight.

That was not my intent.

Anyways, all I want is reliable website hosting. And I believe NAC is the best provider of that. However, I have faith that Surpass will try their best to make their datacenter as reliable as possible. Surpass having their own DC will give them a lot of benefits as well, such as total server control and knowledge of what exactly is going on. I hope this will make Surpass an even better service in the future.

It's great that Surpass has grown big enough to be able to afford having their own DC. I wish them the best of luck in the future.

No fighting, thats uncivil, :blow:

lol

Anyway, I think Surpass is up to 7000 clients, and growing.

There is a 30 day guarantee, if your unhappy in any month and wish to discontinue service, just send a email for a refund of that month with a explanation as to why.

Surpass gets reviews everyday on how fast our servers are and how fast the sites are served.
