I just joined the surpass family after reading all the great feedback on this forum. I have a question if you all wouldn't mind. I'm using my domain name on my other site (dead as of 18 July). If I transfer my domain name, will it instantaneously steer to my surpass account? I'd like to keep my other site open until I establish my new site. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

i had an account at another server, switched my dns from the old server to this one and uploaded my files to this server. i waited until the dns had rolled over and i wasn't down for any amount of time. that allowed me to not loose anything, and when the dns had rolled, i gave it about two more days and then canceled my other account. i set up my email accounts ahead of time, so no email was missed.
in theory it should be pretty much instantly, but the joys of dns it may take a few days.
