Hey, i've just read the changes to the above promotion:

Does this mean that i cannot upgrade my current account?
If i cant, can i cancel my current account and purchase a new one, because i would have no use for my existing account, as i am planning on upgrading to a Bronze reseller account and having a Pro account as my free one.

Well I don't know if you recived an e-mail from Surpass but this may help you anwser your questions.

The rules are as follows,
1) You may not cancel your current account with us, and sign up again.

2) You may not upgrade your current account and have it count as a new account. We at first were allowing this but much confusion arose and we are going to rework that idea for a later time.
3) Please allow 1 week to receive the details on your free account, as we plan to have quite a rush.

For those worried about the rush, the free accounts will be placed on a seperate server and we also have 3 servers lined up, ready to deploy during the sign up craze on those days.

If this promotion goes well, we plan to have more like it in the very near future.

Oh man, that sucks(no offence meant Surpass).
That means i got to pay for 2 accounts. That means i got to pay over £10 a month, on 4 accounts, one of which i wont ever use. i dunno wheter i can afford to pay for both the new and old account, because i am on very limited income. But i really want to take advantage of this offer, and upgrade to a reseller account so i can start my web-design/hosting business up.

Oh man, dilema's dilema's dilema's. I think i'm just going to go and sit in a corner and cry *sniffs* and try and think of any possible way of getting round this problem.

If you are a current member you can't just upgrade. You need to buy a whole new plan. I say just wait for the next promotion... It might even be better than this one (If that's possible)

Yeh, thats what i realised, that i need to purchase a new one, and thats the problem.

I was planning on upgrading to a reseller around June anyway, cus i'm plannin on settin up a small web-design and hosting business, so i need a reseller account.

Hmm, the dilemas. Would have been so much easier if i could have just upgraded. Ah well, wat to do.
Could i cancel my current account after signing up for a new account, cus i really cant manage both accounts for more than a month.

You can't cancel your current after signing up and getting a free account. It's just a way to bend the rules. :cry3:

He needs hosting, and i need to upgrade.
