2 for 1 plan
I currently have a shared plan, but want to switch to a resellers plan and get another resellers plan for free. The thing is that i want to move my shared account's website to my resellers account. Would this be considered as cancelling and account? Meaning i cant get the 2 for 1 deal?

This promotion was geared toward new clients.
If you do upgrade that day, you will not be able to get the free account. We wanted to bend the rules originally and we did, but it caused much confusion and caused our operations to slow down, and we had a few angry customers because of some delayed tickets. This promotion works out for: 1) New customers 2) Current customers who actually happen to need another account for another domain, and don't plan on cancelling their first account for 1.5 years. That is the rule that has been placed for current customers. We regret that our current customers are unhappy about not being able to upgrade their plan and get a free account, but there was too much confusion and questions that were raised, to carry out that kind of deal as well at this time. |

I assume that affirms my statement. (I only question it because of the "2) Current customers who actually happen to need another account for another domain, and don't plan on cancelling their first account for 1.5 years. That is the rule that has been placed for current customers." Rule

I have two sites hosted at surpass right now; they are both under the same client login. I have a third site hosted with another provider; I am thinking about signing up for a new plan while this deal is going on, and transferring the site to surpass. Will I be able to use my same client login for that site, or will I have to sign up for a new client name, as well?
Also, if I do not have a new domain name for the 'free' plan, can I wait a couple of weeks before I set up the free plan? I would rather make sure my primary site is moved properly before i start on a new one, but I don't want to miss the deal; so, I guess my question is, do we need to have two domain names when signing up for a plan, one for the new plan and one for the free plan? Or can we sort out the free plan later? Thanks in advance. |

Yes, you can sign up using the same client username and pass, you would need to in order to keep all of your accounts in order for yourself. The only thing is that when you sign up again, you need to email payments surpasshosting.com requesting the plan of your choice. If you don't know the domain yet for the free one, tell us. We can put a temporary one, say temporary.com |

well, if it will make things go more smoothly, I will try to come up with a new domain name in the next 5-7 days before I sign up. So, is the free site going to remain free for as long as I keep the first site? For example, If I sign up for a plan for one year, then I renew it for another year next June, the 2nd site will be free for both years (and as long as I keep renewing the first one)? Thanks.
