A few more questions

I know I'm not suppose to double post but my questions weren't answered in 8 hours while others' posts were answered so I guess that everyone just assume that all my questions were answered in the other post. If you want to see my previous questions then it's Questions
These are the questions that were unanswered...
Are there any file extension limits? I've uploaded 2 cursor files (.ani and .cur) on my current host and it doesn't work o_O
If I buy a plan during the promotion period and get another plan for free do I have to give them the domain name right away or can I give them the domain name for the free plan after a few days (I'm registering for the domain either today or tomorrow)
Also, should I tell my host right now that I'm switching to Surpass Hosting or should I just wait until my account expires(in November)?
A question about addon domain. From my understanding an addon domain can be something totally different from your domain but it's directed at a directory within your own domain. Am I right? And can I redirect something that's not in my domain already to my addon domain? I have a forum right now hosted at forumer.com and I'd like to redirect it to something like www.domainforum.com is that possible by using an addon domain?
Last question, I've read on another post that said Surpass Hosting can transfer the files from our old Cp to this one, is that true?
Thank you
Meitantei

The only restrictions on files that I know of are copyrighted files, such as mp3s. Cursor files aren't meant to work.

As for the domain name, you can put what ever you want since you can change it later on but emailling one of the staff.

As for transfering files from another CP, yes I think it is possible.

I'm new to this so please correct me if I am wrong.

If you are wanting to use custom cursors and you have the appropriate script then the cursors will work. There are no file restrictions on .ani or .cur so surpass will allow this. If they still don't appear to work on surpass - I would be inclined to say it is the cursor script.

There is no reason to prohibit use of custom cursors. :pom:

I guess that would be correct.

You can enter any domain name to start with and then email surpass to change it for free within 30 days. After 30 days I think there is a small charge.

You need to change the nameservers on your domain to point to the new webspace, so that www.domain.com takes you to the new hosting account. It won't hurt to wait until November and your old webhosting account expires, but you would have to use the ip address to access the new account until you had changed the nameservers.

Yes it directs to a sub-directory but you see the second domain in the address bars.

You can redirect a new domain such as www.domainforum.com and point it to forumer.com. You should be able to do that from where you buy the new domain, you don't need to do that through an add-on domain in c-panel.

Yes, but I think there is a size limit.

I heard it was a limit of 3 changes, then there is a fee.
