Question

G'day guys,

Just wondering about the progress for this change? I hate to be a nag but I need a domain resolving to the new server space by monday. Is there a problem that I need to address or is it that your just busy due to your recent promotion?

Any updates appreciated.

Regards,

Brad

Domain resolving happens when every name server and router on the planet gets updated, which usually takes 24 put up to 72 hours. Once you have made the changes to the name server do not touch it, as this can delay the update.

Unhappy

Thanks for the reply but this issue has nothing to do with DNS changes. It's about a plan upgrade and having my main account allocated to a new domain name.

I can't change the DNS until the account is upgraded. This is the issue.

Wink

LOL Not your fault I just didn't want to repeat myself in the same thread. If you read it from the beginning it kinda makes sense.

I'm starting to get desperate now though. No feedback from staff will do that. Don't tell me they actually have a life!!

They used to, but we chained them to their desks and put a stop to that!

Sales staff is much smaller than support staff.

If you already have an account here, you won't have to worry about 'domains propagating'.

The thing is I don't know who handles an upgrade, sales or support? Either way teq did say yesterday that they were on to it and it would be soon. Since then I've got nothing nor had any responses or updates. What really worries me is that I read a thread in this forum yesterday where it took one guy a week to get his account started? My original was active in 10 mins. I'm seriously worried that theres a problem and it will take a week or more.

As long as my account is upgraded to reseller and the 2 domains I want to host are propagated under it by monday I won't have a problem. One of my clients is expecting to be able to route company email through his account by then. If not I'm going to be looking pretty shoddy =(

Domains do take a while to propagate.

Point them here with your Registrar now - especially if they're new domains.

Upgrades are handled by support AND sales... but if TEQ said she's on it, she is....

then reply again to your ticket asking for status.
