cPanel Logon Screen Name?

I was just wondering if the cPanel Logon Screen Name contains extra numbers or letters at the end. Example: If you registered as Bob, ur cpanel screen name would be Bob12. ??

Thanks. I'm planning to signup with surpasshosting later in the year. :miam2:

Your cPanel login is the first 7 characters of your domain name. I am pretty sure that if you domain name is < 7 characters, it is padded with numbers.

Yeah my domain is 6 and they added a number to the end of it. But if your is less than 7 and you don't like the numbers they can change it for you.

Just make sure it's changed BEFORE you put stuff onto the account...

Yea... It will mess things up, such as your stats. It is also a hassle for support.

I had them change my domain and my username... They were reluctant, but still did it.

Well I didn't know that. I was gonna have them change mine but now I won't. It isn't hard to remember though so it doesn't matter,

No, they don't mind. It's their job.

It will mess up your stats but they can fix that. I am almost positive that nothing else is messed up.
