Aww, you guys are all so nice.

Harelin - We do have quite a few hacks, and it's something we'll probably remedy. Why we ever made that *insert colourful language here* Shoutbox.... Thanks so much, we're looking into it.

mockingbird - Luckily, since we're not a huge, gigantic board, we don't have lots of people on at once. My current host was trying to explain how we went up in usage since their "warning", and now it makes sense. Apparently, everyone was logging in to see what our problem was. *smirk* Bad little critters.

MrAWESOMEDale - GLAD to hear about the support! It was nasty of you kids to add that Cpanel for $35/month (hahaha), but from what I've been hearing, everything is worth it.

Thanks tons guys. My sister is looking into stuff...she's the one who can afford the mega purchase, and we're giving out deals for some great personal site hosting opportunities (50G of bandwidth, *dies*!) so if you're interested...the more that sign up, the cheaper it will be, HAHA.

...Eep. Was that illegal of me? If so, kick me a few times and just delete.

I just had to point that out to anyone that didn't quite notice it.
Thanks bexie, that was a good uplift. I needed that today.

Anyway: Nope, not illegal at all. It's just advertisement, there's plenty of that floating around these forums. No offense meant here, but I hink I'll stick with my surpass, they're the only ones for me.

Also. Webmin is a nice one, I used it on my dekstop for a little bit when I was trying to get a good network running. I ended up going with PHPTriad though. I certainly wouldn't recommend that one for your server, it's not stable enough in my opinion. You'll find something you like eventually, maybe it'll be free, maybe not. It all depends on what you're looking for in the administration section and what you're willing to give up for it.

cPanel is licensed for seperate servers so there is no way we could give it for free. That is why there is a monthly charge. If you know an experienced admin, they could set up your server for you and maintain it; you wouldn't need a cPanel... but cPanel is very easy to use and a shame not to have at times when that other person isn't around.

If you choose to have Webmin installed and ever need any guidance then Surpass support cannot really help you with that as that isn't what we are experienced in.

Agreed. cPanel is super easy to use and maintain. It's almost a sin how easy it is to use, you don't need any real training to use most of the features, but surpass is there for you for the ones you don't know how to use. It has a nice inegrated server load checker, that's something I love. I like to see what kind of a load the server is under, just to see if it's a good time for me to mess with some of the programs in scripta. By the way, there are a ton of programs in scripta, too many for me to mention at the moment, though I just counted 57 in my cpanel, I could be off by one or two though, drinking a bana milkshake at the moment (quite distracting).

You really don't need cPanel...stick with webadmin and save yourself some money.
