Salut !

Moi aussi je suis Français et avec Surpass depuis un mois.

Malgré que j'avais une dizaine de sites à bouger de mon ancien ''Reseller account'' avec un aurtre hébergeur où le support était inéxistant, je suis plus que satisfait, voir comblé avec Surpass. Le moindre problème qui peut survenir est pris au sérieux et leur support est super. Ils peuvent aider à transferrer votre site avec la database de Xoops sans aucun problèmes.

Je n'ai utilisé que 6 mois sur l'année que j'avais payé à mon ancien hébergeur mais je ne regrette rien bien au contraire.

I caught Reseller account, xoops, surpass, support, and A+, outside of that, nothing.
So please forgive me if I repeat something.

I have been with surpass for a while now. I have to say that their support is absolutely incredible, they are extremely fast and even more patient. They will walk you through almost any problem, and they will do it fast. If there's a problem, they're on it. Plus there's surmunity, it's something that very few web hosts have. Not only do surpass employees check in, but there are many users that check in daily to help others or get helped.

I have to say that surpass is the best host out there. Just excellent.

I've to talk about the host we'll choose with some "friends" on my website.

I have a few more questions for you :

1) In your offers, it's said "FTP account unmetered", what does it mean exactly?

2) What's an "add-on domain"?

3) Email accounts are "unmetered". Will my users will be able to have their own email address mydomain.org?

make as many FTP accounts (and subdomains if you wish - joe.yourdomain.com)
This is where a totally unrelated domain name is hosted in your account, in a subdirectory. example: main directory = public_html= yourdomain.com / marie's directory=public_html/marie=anothercompdomain.com
you can make as many email addresses as you want. So yes. If you plan to host a lot of 'friends' you may want to use a reseller account, that way you can allocate the amount of space / email accounts / domains / etc. that they are allowed to play with.
No worries. We don't hate the french, just your government (SMILE!)

He's not aware of the fact that EVERY time the french have needed our help (USA) - WWI, WWII, Korea, Vietnam we've been there to pull their fat out of the fire... yet the french government - being socialist - does all they can with the help of their media to make america look like satan... and when we want their help to get Saddam and rescue the 25 million people he's been opressing and gassing with chemical weapons (and to keep him from funding more terrorists, etc...) they (french government) says no.... and we find out later that this is because senior french officials have been taking bribes in the UN "Iraq Oil for Food" program...

Uggh.

I love france. I love paris. I love all the french people I met... but many many many of them are simply myrmidons of their government... they don't think for themselves and believe that the governemnt is the best to take care of all their problems...

Thanks for your reply Bigjohn! About email, I'm just thinking that it would be great if members of my website can have an email with my domain name at the end. So actually, I don't know how many people would like it ^o^.

I think the same about the US people, haha... You know what? I don't like your government and I don't like mine... All our politics are here to make profits, they don't really care about people.... That's what I think...
